This is the club where Tammy and I saw Duran Duran in November 2003 on their Reunion Tour with all five original members. Great concert and a very intimate setting in the club.
Here’s a link to a photo of Tammy in front of the building the day of the concert: Photo Gallery
It’s hard to believe that it’s been over four years since we saw the concert.

Apple //c – a photoset on Flickr
The Apple IIc is the first Apple Computer that I thought was “sexy” and that I really wanted. Yes, it was after the introduction of the Mac, but I loved the size and look of the IIc. For 1984, it was very sweet looking. Alas, it was priced at $1,295, which was way out of the price range for this 13-year old. So I made due with my C64 (which I loved so much that I used it for almost 8 years).
It appears that this guy paid over $2,500 for this unopened computer on eBay. I don’t think I would have opened it..

From Disaster, a Chef Forges an Empire – New York Times
I know, I know…another story about something New Orleans. Bear with me–this guy is a good one. His restaurants and food are exceptional, and he’s a good person..
