Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Teams Up with Verizon to Bring Mobile Magic to U.S. Parks

Crap.  I had Verizon for 11 years, and I switched to AT&T this year for the iPhone.  Figures.

Planned services include an exclusive mobile application that will give guests with Verizon Wireless service the ability to easily locate shows, restaurants and the Disney characters anywhere inside the Parks; get real-time attraction availability information; access mobile games; receive messages from characters and more.

Sorry…I had to post just one more picture of Obama with his Mac. Not only does he use a Mac, he has personalized his with a Pac Man sticker. I know it shouldn’t seem like a big deal, but it does show that he’s part of a younger generation with different ideas. That’s what we need right now.

In February’s Newsweek, it was reported: “To help bridge the physical distance between father and daughters, Michelle recently bought two MacBook laptops, one for Barack and one for the kids, so they could have video chats over the Internet.” Sweet.

To Senator McCain: You are a great man, and you have served your country honorably in the military and in Congress. You are an American hero. However, it just wasn’t your time to serve the country as President. This is probably due more to the unhappiness with the Bush administration as anything else (although picking Palin as your running mate wasn’t the best move). I wish you luck. Thank you for your service to this country.

To President-elect Obama: We’ve entrusted you with the highest seat in the land, and we are starving for true leadership. Don’t let us down..

Star Wars ABC: A is for Ackbar

Cute!  Great way to get the kids started on Star Wars…I mean learning their ABCs..

I just returned from voting.  I went during an off hour, so the lines weren’t bad at all.  The polling place could have had the precincts labeled better as I originally got in the wrong line, but once I found the correct line, it only took about 10 minutes to sign in, wait in line and vote.  I hope the rest of the country is moving just as smoothly.

This one is important people.  I’m not going to tell you who to vote for, but I hope everyone makes the right decision.

One other message:  if you see a “Yes on 8” ad on this page, it is because Google has placed it based on the content of the posts.  I have adjusted the settings so those ads won’t show up, but it may take a few hours.  I doubt that anyone from California reads this site, but just in case, please note that I do not support proposition 8, and I hope that it is defeated..
