I guess I’m really out of the loop on Florida news.  I had no idea that the Devil Rays are now officially the “Rays” (and it looks like it now represents a sun ray instead of an animal) and I hadn’t heard about the plans for a new stadium.  The stadium looks very nice.  Like a baseball park you would expect to find in Florida.  I hope they do build it.  It would be a vast improvement over the Tropicana Dome.

I like the new uniforms and caps for the Rays, too.  Hopefully they can use the new name and look to market the team better and increase interest and attendance.  It’s just a shame that they’re in the AL East.  Tough division to be in..
